I’ve bought Illamasqua Precision Ink in a shade Alchemy on asos when they had a sale on some makeup items and it costed me around 4 euros, a bargain I might say. The regular price of Illamasqua eyeliners is around 23 euros.
Before I start the review I have to mention that this shade is no longer in the regular range. I suppose that they have discontinued it, which is a real shame. But I believe that a shade Wisdom could be a good substitute. You can maybe find Alchemy on ebay or again on asos, or similar sites, when they will have another sale.
While this is indeed a great catch, the eyeliner came broken and asos sold out every single one so they couldn’t send me a replacement. Packaging just snapped right at the opening and I can not fix it. I have temporarily taped it together so that it doesn’t dry out, and I’ll try to save it somehow but I have no idea how. If someone has an idea please write it to me because I would really like to save it.
Illamasqua Alchemy is a metallic gold color, it’s really wonderful. The eyeliner is waterproof, which is really great, and every time I wore it hasn’t move anywhere. It does need a minute to dry but when it dries it lasts until you remove your makeup off. It hasn’t faded nor transferred to my upper lid.
I mostly wore it over the black eyeliner, I find that way most appealing and the colour nicely shows off.
It comes in a nice, black, narrow packaging, like a little black pen. The applicator tip is pointy and quite sturdy and I personally like it because it enables precise application and I find it easier to work with for eyeliner beginners than the soft ones.
You get 1,8 milliliters of eyeliner.
I have really nothing bad to say about this eyeliner, it’s an excellent product. However, the only downside would probably be the regular price.
